| Matteo's Red Headed Step Sauce with The Shaggy Haired Red Topper - This sauce with the shaggy-haired red top is crafted from only the freshest ingredients available: fire roasted Jalapeņo and Cayenne peppers, veggies, and fresh squeezed lime juice. One fine day at Matteo's Salsa Loco Restaurant one of Matteo's cooks tried to make hot sauce with peppers from his garden. We still don't quite know what he did, but it looked and tasted like the Red Tide. While trying to doctor it up, Matteo dubbed it the Red Headed Step Sauce. Soon after, Matteo chucked the sauce, fired the cook, but kept the name! Since then Matteo continues to make his Red Headed Step sauce (himself!) with the finest ingredients available from Mother Nature.
Ingredients: tomato juice, roasted Jalapeņo peppers, red wine vinegar, fresh onions, fresh carots, lime juice, soybean oil, red chili peppers, roasted garlic, olive oil, spices, salt.
